I'm still personally quite unsure on that. But I CAN answer a few questions you may have about HOW coaching with TSHP works plus WHY it is "so hot right now" and likely to stay that way...
This is me pondering the validity of a large percentage of my workouts. Maybe it’s also your face as I haven’t answered your questions yet
TSHP coaching sessions utilise processes and techniques of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) combined with Hypnosis, Timeline Therapy and life coaching. It's not a big wheelbarrow of advice - it's about helping you, help yourself through an understanding of how you are wired, clearing your 'stuff' and providing you the tools for change.
With coaching, we focus on the CONTEXT of a situation rather than the content. There is no need to re-live the stories behind each and every event
Coaching is very much a solution and outcome focussed concept to create fast, efficient change. We ask 'how' & 'what' questions rather than the 'why' questions, cos too much "WHY DID THIS HAPPEN" is bound to keep you stuck in the past whereas "WHAT DO YOU WANT" and "HOW ARE YOU GOING TO GET THERE" are the shizzle when it comes to moving forward
Sessions are conducted either face-to-face in Darlinghurst, Sydney or via Skype or Phone.
The client is welcome to express their preference for the delivery method of the session, however due to the nature of the tools - Skype or Face-to-face are recommended
TSHP accepts clients globally because well, TECHNOLOGY
FUCK.YES. The concept of a diet is specifically in conflict with how our sub-conscious brain operates both from a perspective of creating deprivation (which we perceive as danger) to a focus on what we CAN’T have – which our brain cannot actually process.
Our ‘diet-fails’ are created by the presence of internal pain or sub-conscious beliefs, so in eradicating them you are free to just make balanced, sustainable decisions and feel good about yourself. Your ideal body then comes as a by-product of this state of being.
Its so long, hard to pronounce and sounds a bit wanky. I wish they’d change the name to something full gangster, but I'm not hopeful so we just call it 'NLP'
NLP is a set of tools & concepts to create transformations in behaviour; through an understanding of how our inner dialogue, external language & sub-conscious neural programming first creates these behaviours.
The NLP concepts allow clients to become aware of the aspects of their sub-conscious brain that come together to create the reality they are living; that are perhaps driving un-resourceful behaviours. Through this new-found consciousness, NLP tools assist the client in creating choice of behaviour & clearing negative emotions or beliefs that aren't serving them in moving forward.

We've all heard of the Titanic. What an epic balls-up. My mind immediately wanders to being banged by Leonardo DiCaprio in the back of a vintage car after getting my nips out for a cheeky portrait. My second reflection is 'If only they'd know how big that fucking iceberg was under the surface'. What a bloody BRILLIANT metaphor for highlighting how important it is to know what's going on underneath the surface of your brain so that you can steer yourself on a new path.
Your brain has 2 parts - the CONSCIOUS (what you are aware of) and your SUB-CONSCIOUS.
The aspects of your mind that create your behaviours + emotions sit in your subconscious mind, so if you have no idea what they are - how are you going to change them? The reason that people feel a 'stuckness', is that they are trying consciously to do something in conflict with how their sub-conscious mind wants to create the best outcome; based on its information. The sub-conscious is trying to do one thing, you are trying consciously to do another - so the two minds are in conflict!
Being outcome based, we work on getting really specific about WHERE you are trying to get to. EG If you opened Google maps, you wouldn't just type: "Not the ass-end of nowhere" and expect it to direct you exactly where you want to go. Your brain is no different, it doesn't care for vagueness. We need to give it map of where it's going and how to get there.
For the journey - you need 'resources'. NLP tools and processes, including Hypnosis, assist you to uncover what these are and how to get them (or if you already have them)
Lastly, you can't get there if there are obstacles in your way. We're talking those big fuckers you know all about, as well as the little sneaky fuckers that you can't even see. These 'obstacles' being un-resourceful sub-conscious beliefs or patterns. The tools and processes work out what these are, then easily and effortlessly shift them for you: creating a clear path to your destination!
The hopelessness, sadness, hurt, anger, resentment coupled with the continual disappointment & frustration from your weightloss efforts that YOU currently feel on any level – I felt them all. Like a giant cactus-dildo up the ass. For a very long time. It’s like I’ve just studied 10 years at the College of Fucked-up Crap life throws at you & I’ve graduated with a PhD. I can relate to you.
I understand you need a ‘step-by-step’ process but also that the place you're in is painful & you don’t want it to take years for you to feel better. I give you that ‘HOW’ so the journey no longer seems unrealistic.
TSHP isn’t like a pumice stone to scrape the dead skin flakes from the bottom of your foot or pick at the scabs of your life (That’s my metaphor for working through the ‘conscious brain’ to get rid of only what you’re aware of) that’s surface level shit, it’ll just come back. It takes effort. Its gross. I find the root of problems from the inside (the sub-conscious, where those fuckers hide) & shift them outta there.
Hypnosis is one of the extremely effective tools used in TSHP coaching sessions to create significant sub-conscious shifts - it's basically like planting a new seed of positivity; replacing an old negative belief or program with a new positive one in your sub-conscious. It's stopping that fight between your conscious and sub-conscious brain who want to do different things, by getting them aligned onto the same path.
It’s not dodgy. Its 100% safe. I'm not going to make you cluck like a chicken. It's important for you to know you are always in control during Hypnosis, your sub-conscious is always keeping you safe and always has choice as to whether to accept suggestions made during hypnosis. It's just a feeling of being super relaxed...no crazy shit goes down.
